Other Enviromental Products

Osprey do some really great backpacks made out of recycled materials (http://www.ospreypacks.com/Packs/ReSourceSeriesRecycledMaterials)

If like me you need to lug a laptop about on the back of a bike, check out the lovely Pakuma Eco-Cocoon Laptop case. It's funky and great quality, and is made almost entirely from recycled materials (http://www.pakuma.com/products/eco2bag.htm)

If you love the feel of waxed legs or other bits, but don't have the time to go to Remedies, you can do it yourself (relatively painlessly, honest!) at home with Moom (http://www.moom-uk.com). Sadly they don't supply a hunk to help, just a small plastic spatula. Ah well.

The WWF have some really super recycled wine glasses and tumblers - they look great and are lovely to use, and you help a great cause when you buy some (http://shop.wwf.org.uk - look for recycled glass). (WWF also have some great gadgets like wind-up torches, and my favourite little wind-up lantern)

Sea Salt clothing, of course! Gorgeous clothes made from organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and recycled fleece (http://www.rnlishop.org.uk/gifts/index.html (http://www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/index.php). Even if I am a bit cross with them for not having my favourite top in my size in their sale at the moment.

More bamboo! Trust me, bamboo socks really are as good as the testimonials say they are! (http://www.bambooclothing.co.uk)

The Surfers Against Sewage shop is always worth a look, and another worthy cause to support (http://surfersagainstsewage.co.uk/shop/index.php)

Same goes for the RNLI, and they do some of those fab Virtual Gifts for those relatives who already have everything and are impossible to buy for - buy a pair of seaboots for a lifeboat crewman, on their behalf! (http://www.rnlishop.org.uk/gifts/index.html)

Best wishes from us,

Kate and Alastair
